History of SDGs Thursday Network

SDGs Thursday is an initiative of IBI Foundation which is dedicated towards the advocacy of the Global Goals by organizing programs, projects and events that are geared towards the achievement of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals at the grassroots.

As a network of young advocates of the SDGs made up of Civil Society organizations, social entrepreneurs, and volunteers who are passionate about the SDGs and are voluntarily organizing programs and projects to tackle their community’s social challenges, the network leverages the 17th goal of the SDGs (Partnership to achieve all Goals).

BabaInna, Our Founder

The founder is a retired Lieutenant Commander from the Nigerian Navy with a 25 years of military career service record.
He is a member of Centre for Management Development, a fellow at
the Institute of Management Consultant and fellow of the Institute of Cooperate Administrations of Nigeria and Certified Management Specialist in Time Management.

As the CEO of IBI Foundation, whose primary focus is touching the lives of the vulnerable, less privileged, and displaced in our society, His passions include caring for the less privileged, empowering the Girl Child and an advocate of the Sustainable Development Goals.

With the vision to make a difference in lives of ordinary citizens in Nigeria, the founder through the foundation has touched the lives of more than a hundred thousand Nigerians through his Initiatives since inception in 2015, when Baba-Inna founded the NGO.
